About me

After working at a doctors practice coaching expats who were suffering from overwork, burnout and anxiety I realised that we need to do more to educate people so that they can take control of their personal and professional lives in healthy sustainable ways.

Most of my clients at the doctors practice were professionals who had a good relationship with their manager. They told me that their managers were also stressed and overworked and they did not want to burden them. They told me that their managers had a lot of pressure from their own managers. Having experienced a burnout 14 years ago, I can relate. I loved my job, liked my manager and was an expat with a two year old daughter.

I firmly believe that managers are the key to employee wellbeing and engagement. Too often a high performing employee is promoted to manage a small team without foundational leadership skills they need to lead a team. This lack of knowledge and experience creates unnecessary pressure and leads to increased absence and poor performance.

Which is why I facilitate workshops for new managers and employees that enable them to connect to themselves, the topic at hand, and each other. Non managers will leave with practical tools and knowledge that supports their personal and professional growth in a balanced and healthy way and managers will leave with the tools required to lead and develop high performing teams.
